Fashionweek is going so fast and keeping up with it isn't that easy. But i don't mind doing it at all! I love looking at all the collections and seeing what the designers have come up this year.
1. Jeremy Laing: Ok, i have to admit something. I actually didn't really knew this designer.. But i do know him now! And i even like him or should i say his collection. I felt that these clothes will be worn by the girl who went true a dark gothic fase and is now finding her way back to a more modest, clean look. I really like how he literally zipped everything up. The natural prints were also a succes for me and i want me some boxy silhouette and slicked back hair!
2. Derek Lam: We started out at an office in the 60's and ended up in todays modern world! Sixties office girls with a modern twist started out this show with business suits and perfect collars. The show ended with the eveningwear. The gowns were made out of long chiffon skirts with knitted sweaters. I think every look represents a strong women who is conscious of her own body. The collection is super wearable yet incredibly fashionable.
3. Thakoon: This collection was inspired by the Red-light district in Amsterdam. If you look closely, you will recognize the neon tube lights on the dresses and tops. It's a mix between sexy and sophisticated. Some pieces i would like to own. For example the shiny black dress coat with collar.
4. Victoria Beckham: She's only around for a few seasons, but she is already becoming one of my season favourites. She knows what women want and, above all, what they need! While doing this she stays very close to her own style and her personality. Her looks are elegant, stylish and super sophisticated. However, this season she went with sporty-chic. Look at the collars, the bags and the bold stripes she used to encircle the torso. The most surprising element of the whole entire show were the models with flat boots! No heels...
I'm looking forward to seeing Victoria walk in flat shoes. She is after all the queen of heels...
